Joshua Rose devotes his practice to complex litigation. He has represented plaintiffs in a wide variety of cases since he joined his father to form the firm in 1989.

Mr. Rose represents individuals and groups with employment related claims against private and governmental employers. These range from the multi-million dollar claims of an investment banker to severance and other employment related agreements for individuals who have suffered adverse job actions motivated by discrimination or other unlawful conduct.

Mr. Rose has represented non-profit organizations in public interest cases seeking remedies for violations of anti-discrimination laws such as Title VII and the ADEA and those seeking remedies for violations of environmental laws such as the Clean Water Act, CERCLA and RCRA. Mr. Rose has also brought "environmental justice" actions involving the effects of pollution on communities of color. Mr. Rose has represented the NAACP in more than 35 actions over the past 15 years, has obtained some 30 decrees ordering changes in unlawful employment practices and has worked on cases that resulted in more than $6 million in relief for environmental harm as well as decrees to clean up operations ranging from landfills to pig farms and oil refineries.

Before joining Rose Legal Advocates, P.C., Mr. Rose was a member of the commercial litigation department of a large St. Louis firm now known as Thompson & Coburn.
